I have had the honor of being one of the 13 artists that created a project called "know yourself", a project which are inviting the people of Bergen to join the conversation and to participate in an introspective journey. We need to stop. We need to think. And we need to critically question everything and thereby allowing ourselves to get closer to knowing ourselves and our society as a whole.

We are living in a world that is constantly evolving and changing.
Our society is now in a very polarized state. We gravitate towards each of our “side”.. Rich and poor, left and right, religious or not etc.. Most of us feel hurt or angry if anyone dare to challenge our perception of reality. We have stopped listening and now we just wait for our turn to speak.
The animals are meant to be a symbol of our baggage, the stuff we bring with us from our past experiences into new interactions. Whether it is a new friend or a relationship.
It is safe to stand by your animal. But you will never get over the bridge and see what adventures is waiting on the other side if you bring it with you.
