My first big project.
This was painted at Comfort Hotel Flesland.
For me, there is a meaning behind each of these separate works. They are all connected and has a story behind them.
The story begins within a withering world, a world of sorrow and decay. The protagonist in the story then decides to leave the dark reality she came from. She brings with her a part of the darkness and uses it as best she can. she plants the seed of her past experiences and feeds it with new ones on her Journey. The seed which came from the darkness then grows into something beautiful, and a new brighter world is built by our heroine. At the end of her journey she has created something with immense power and beauty bigger then herself. She is safe, secure and stronger, as symbolized by the ancor in her clock.
It is a story of letting go. But at the same time it is a story of exploring the reality around you and taking it for a ride. You are the most powerful thing that exist in your reality. Acknowledge it and use it.
